Julia and Daniel really had something to look forwad to this month.
Although limping with an infected toe from a swimming pool accident, there was no way to stop Daniel from going to the German Superbowl Game.
He and Norbert were invited to go along with Ingo and Alex.
They didn't have to ask twice.
The visit to the hospital had to wait another day.
In the meantime, Daniel and the boys had a blast.
And the Eagles from Berlin too who won against the Baltic Hurricanes from Kiel.
Then it was Julia's turn to "take her Dad out" to the Green Day Concert.
This idea came from Bob & Julia who also did all the driving to and back from Köln.
And that not just once but twice. Yes, our two tickets were left behind and discovered missing just before Köln.
It still did not ruin the spirit. Julia and Julia had a great marathon night out.
Bob and Norbert thought the concert which ended after midnight had to be topped with a visit to the Hard Rock Cafe before returning to Frankfurt at 2:30 am.
I have to say, Julia really earned our respect next day. She not only had a normal school day but also a 3 hour gymnastics training in the afternoon. Without complaint. This also revealed us how much she valued her night out the day before.
