2009.09. - Visitors

We could welcome many friends in September - some coming from further away than others.
After a long break we finally met up again with Norbert's cousin, Elisabeth and her husband, Max from Karlsruhe.

Before allowing ourselves to enjoy the yummy fruitcake they brought along, we went for a long walk in the park ...

... built a dam ...

... and started a collection of glass, porcelain pieces and rocks which Annie later expanded with chestnuts.

Then we saw Judit, Robert and Alex who arrived from Budapest and London to see the big car exhibition IAA in Frankfurt.

Alex got his hands full - ensuring to fill up his energy tank before the full day expedition.

Meanwhile Daniel's concern was rather to keep himself from dehydration and overheat.

And Laura, coming from Köln had the patience to wait until all the games finished.

Luckily, there was plenty of sunshine to enjoy for us on the spectators' benches.

A couple of days after all the guests had to return to their home, Daniel made up his mind to get a haircut his style (and most of the other boys' in his class). This is how it turned out:

We all liked it very much.

And his class too - which went on the traditional 4 day class trip in the last year of Primary School, Grade 4.

Daniel said he had a great time - still - I got the longest & tightest hug ever when I picked him up on his return ! (:)
