2009.10. - Halloween

The colder and wetter weather makes it easier to look for indoor activities.

Julia and Annie did.

Orange and Black - the colors of Halloween. This is what the kids used at the girl scout meeting to do some arts & crafts.

J didn't only do art though.

She also "volunteered" after a little bit of convincing to do the first report of the scouts' new series - "the world around us".

She talked about our visit to "The Messel Pit" (Grube Messel), a World Heritage Site close to Darmstadt during summer.

The American Siedlung in Frankfurt celebrated Halloween with its traditional Trick or Treating.

We were there again.
And Julia G and Daria joined us this year.

As always, it was a whole lot more fun collecting the sweets than eating them at the end.
