Today we hit a record temperature of 37 C. How do you feel on a day like this?We visited the zoo today.
It wouldn`t be fair (to the giraffe) if I did not correct the false impression that the long tounge was due to the heat. It was expecting food from the visitors.
Most of the animals showed a very reasonable attitude and lied around in the shade.
Not the monkeys though which turned out to be, as always the kids` favorite species in the zoo - not to mention all the poisonous snakes, spiders and other dangerous reptiles.
Speaking of monkeys and spiders - Daniel really still fits both categories if you ask me. He climbed around on the net with the only difficulty being landing on the hot sand.
Annie was too hot to do much except for acting in front of the camera
......... while Julia was pretending to ride the ocean waves on a surf board.
