Our thermometer stayed very consistent and kept showing daily temperatures of 30-31 Celsius. Daniel and Annie did not really suffer much. They had some creative ideas how to chill out.

And when they ran out of ideas around the house, they had some other plans - in "Lochmuehle".
They figured speed counts and the faster you are, the cooler it is. So they tried:
THE WHEELS;

THE RAILS;
THE SPINNING

PETAL;
AND THE HOOVES;

before they moved on to some vertical experience, more precisely:
THE TRAMPOLINE
This latter experiment did lead to rather more than less heat which wasn't exactly any surprise to me.

The steady summer-like weather conditions also helped me a lot to get back into more sport. I cannot believe how many years of living here it took me until I realized I can actually run to the outdoor swimming pool, cover some laps and run back home within an hour. It took actually a neighbor who I met while she was just doing that.

Anyway, I got to like my little "biathlon" so much that I hardly missed a day in the last weeks.
Thanks to Daniel, my cameraman who volunteered to accompany me a couple of times on his bike, I have even got some pictures for illustration.
