2008.05.12. - Local (water) exploration

So close and still so far.

From the long list of possible destinations for outdoor family activities, we chose to stay in town today and walk.

Lilac (Orgona / Flieder),






Pansy (Árvácska / Stiefmütterchen),

Forget-me-not (Nefelejcs / Vergessmichnicht)
......
and other spring flowers made our way very colorful.

Julia and Annie had a quick dip into the pool before we caught up with the boys in the park.



Using sticks and string (and flower for decoration by Annie) we attempted to prepare rafts.
Not so easy as we imagined!
After 2 hours of concentrated efforts and moderate success we all started to appreciate the efforts of shipwrecked survivors who managed to escape their island by building a raft!
