The row of sunny days doesn't seem to end which is very handy when you play sports outside.

We are in the middle of the soccer season at FIS.
This is Julia leading the ball for her purple team.

Annie is also old enough to learn the rules of the game ...

... or not ?
Look at that nice handstand on the soccer field !

And why do we have Brave, Giselle's Collie on the playfield ?

3 year older boys are different - they do not get distracted so easily.

Daniel definitely does not. Here cherishing another victory.

It was also time for another Field Trip with the Boy Scouts to Burg Rieneck where he stayed overnight at the castle with Norbert and the rest of his Den. They especially enjoyed driving through mud and get the car dirty! - Men...

Omi and Opa also came to visit to help rearrange the kids' rooms yet again.
Since the weather allowed we started with garden work and then moved on to the jobs indoor.

Daniel's reading lamp must be fixed in his new own room.

Julia wished a magnet board over her bed.

A little time for fun got squeezed in and so we strolled and rolled through the autumn fields of the neigborhood.

Handstand again - why do kids enjoy standing upside down?

Picking apples

Since we were invited to a wedding, I decided to get into nail art.
The first results turned out to be so much nicer than my own, always broken finger nails.
I cannot imagine not having my finger nails done anymore!

And here we come to the event - Hannes & Britta's wedding - all dressed up smartly.

The groom was friendly ...

... and the bride was beautiful.
And our kids behaved in a way that impressed the whole congregation (especially us).
They ate every course of the menu without complaint (including a huge salad with salmon and tomato soup), sitting straight at the table and working with fork and knife while having conversations with the other grown-up guests at the round table !

Part of the celebration was a comic film - acted out and recorded by Britta's girlfriends. Annie watched this from Norbert's lap while I could sit without a kid for most of the time !

The children got exhausted. It took them about 30 seconds to fall asleep in the car on the way home.
Still, it was worth it. We had a grand time and they got to see how you can set out for a life-lasting commitment when you found the one - filled with joy and respect.
